Natural Signs is a research-based environmental pattern recognition program developed by the owner of Mylearningacademy.org, Angel, an independent researcher, educator, and lifelong observer based on a farm in central Florida.
The framework did not begin as a project. It began as survival.
Angel was born hard of hearing, a condition that went undiagnosed for years because she had already, without being taught, learned to compensate. She tracked body language, watched environmental cues, and synthesized multiple streams of non-verbal information simultaneously in real time. By the time she entered school, those skills were not new. They were already deeply embedded in how she experienced the world.
The audiologists running her hearing tests never caught on, because she was reading their eye contact and head movements to know when to raise her hand. That didn't change until much later, when one of the audiologists realized what she was using.
That foundational skill became a multi-channel observation, developed out of necessity rather than academic interest. Later, it became the architecture for this site.
Over her decades of teaching, living with and around animals, and observing natural environments, Angel recognized that the same pattern-reading skills she had developed for human interaction applied directly to the natural world.
She began putting the skills together to formulate what you see here, today. She realized that animals change behavior before storms and seismic events, ground conditions shift before atmospheric changes register on instruments, and biological communities respond to electromagnetic and pressure changes before those changes become measurable through standard means. She had already noticed these things and learned to apply them in the real world.
The Natural Signs Framework is the formal documentation of that observation system. The framework draws on multiple channels simultaneously, including animal behavior and displacement patterns, insect activity, atmospheric conditions, solar and geomagnetic data, geological indicators, and personal physiological responses.
No single signal is treated as conclusive on its own. Convergence across multiple independent channels is what triggers a formal call.
Beginning in October 2025, Angel began formally logging predictions with timestamps, sources, and exhibit documentation. As of late June 2026, the confirmed record stands at 23 verified predictions with no misses. Confirmed events include seismic activity in the Philippines, Cuba, Micronesia, California, Japan, the Kermadec Islands, and Venezuela, as well as Atlantic tropical development called six to eight days before National Hurricane Center confirmation, against an official forecast of a below-average season.
The Natural Signs course at My Learning Academy teaches the observational methodology, the science behind why these channels carry information, and how to develop and trust your own pattern recognition in the natural environment around you.
A note on the science
Natural Signs does not ask anyone to take her word for it. Every formal prediction in the framework record is logged before the event with a date, a specific location or corridor, and a projected magnitude or development range. Confirmation is documented using primary government sources including the USGS, NOAA, and the National Hurricane Center. The framework operates on the same standard it teaches: observe first, document it, then let the outcome speak.
